The Project Development Unit (PrDU) serves as an executive arm of the Caritas Community & Higher Education Service and liaises with local education institutions and business sectors as well as counterparts from overseas countries and the Mainland in order to explore collaboration opportunities.

Our Unit has been implementing the educational objectives of our Service by offering various kinds of educational and vocational training to different partners.

The services provided by the PrDU can be broadly described as follows:

1. Extension Programme

Our Extension Programme offers diversified professional training to serve the specific needs of various organizations.

In order to keep pace with our constantly evolving society, different industries have ever higher expectations of their staff. The staff are expected to acquire skills in different areas such as leadership, communication and presentation skills. Our programmes are provided to consolidate their skills and enhance the competitiveness of both the organizations and their staff.

2. International Education Service

The PrDU offers free counselling and supporting services for students who intend to study abroad. We provide information about overseas institutions and assist students with their applications.

We also organize Language Exposure Programmes for primary & secondary schools. This programme provides participants with opportunities for language learning and exposure to the culture of different countries.


3. Rooms Renting Service

Our rooms are suitable for meetings, lectures, workshops, seminars, presentations and press conferences etc. and with well-equipped facilities. Our Unit is conveniently located in the heart of Central. 1 minute walk from the Central MTR station, transportation is very accessible.

4. Tailor-made Project

We design and provide tailor-made services according to the requests of different industries and individual organizations. Our projects aim to provide working opportunities for Caritas students and trainees so that they are able to apply their skills in facilitating enterprises’ operations and serving our society.
